7 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech - Desert

On the first day of our 7 days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech, we will meet you at the airport and then drive to your hotel in Medina. After that, we will start our sightseeing of Fes with a local guide who will accompany you for the rest of the day. Firstly, you start by visiting the royal palace gate then we will drive to the Southern tower for an amazing panoramic view of the Medina.

Thereafter, your local guide will take you for a walk to explore inside the medina with all its best-visited sites including the Chouara Tannery and the oldest Al Qarawiyyin University as well as the Blue Gate. Overnight in traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina.

Then we stop at the cedar forests to see the wild monkeys. After that, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains until we reach Midelt for lunch.

Furthermore, we will cross the High Atlas to Errachidia. Here, we realize the palm trees appear. Later on, we reach Erfoud, the economic capital of the Tafilalet region and where the fossils are made. After 1 hour we will reach Merzouga desert to spend the night in a local hotel. Today is the best day of the 7 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. After breakfast in your hotel, we explore Erg Chebbi more deeply. To start with by visiting the nomad families on the edge of the Sahara desert to learn more about their lifestyle, then we drive to Khamlia Village to listen to Gnawa music and have a special Berber Pizza at the same village.

After lunch, we will drive back to the hotel to be prepared for the camel ride. Later on, a camel man will accompany you to cross the dunes of Erg Chebbi and stop on the way for sunset photos, upon your arrival at the camp you will be welcomed with a cup of tea and they will show you your private tent. After dinner, you gathered around the campfire to listen to local songs and see the stars. Dinner and breakfast at the camp.

Early morning, you will be woken up for sunrise photos. After breakfast and shower, you ride the camel back to the meeting point, then we drive toward Rissani for a small walk around its authentic weekly market.

So we continue our 7 days tour from Fes to Marrakech through a semi-desert landscape, we reach the oasis of Tinghir - possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco.

Then we pass the Todra River and have a walk in the Todra Gorges, a famous destination for rock climbers. After lunch in Todra Valley, we will leave for Dades Valley for an overnight in a local hotel.

After breakfast, we take the road towards Ait Ben Haddou throughout the valley of thousands of Kasbahs and Ouarzazate. Here, we stop to see the cinema studios. Later on, we reach Ait Benhaddou for lunch and visit this fabulous kasbah, known for its cinematic activities and home to many movies including the Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and The Mummy.

Thereafter, we cross the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech, on the way we will stop at the Tichka Pass "2260m" and another stop for a break. Moreover, if you are interested we may stop to have a general idea in women's cooperatives to learn of the Argan oil production. Overnight in a traditional Riad in the Medina.

Today will be a half-day exploring Marrakech's best attractions. A local guide will take you to discover the best and most popular visited sites of the Red City. Hence, you start by visiting the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the iconic Jamaa El Fna Square.

Moreover, you explore Marrakech souk's "Markets". After lunch, we will drive to the fascinating Majorelle Gardens. Overnight in the hotel/riad.

Today will be the end of our 7 days tour from Fes to Marrakech. Therefore, we will drive you to the Airport in Marrakech or Casablanca.
