Tour Plan

Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

This 2 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech will start from your riad/hotel at 8 am. We traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains and go toward the Merzouga Sahara desert.

On our first stop in Ifran mostly known as the Little Moroccan Switzerland because of its architecture. Then another stop at the cedar forest of Azrou to see the wild apes.

Also, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains to reach the famous and longest valley in Morocco. In Ziz Valley we will have a break before we head to Erfoud, the city of dates and Fossils.

After that, we continue our way to the Merzouga desert. Here you will ride the camel for almost 90 minutes and spend the night in a luxury desert camp. Therefore, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to the local Berber music.

Day 2: Merzouga - Todra gorges - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Early morning you will wake up to enjoy the incredible image of the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast and showering at the camp, we recommend coming back by car instead of a camel because of the long drive to Marrakech. Our 2 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech will continue to pass through Todra Valley and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah.

Today, we will depart from Merzouga to Erfoud. Keep driving to the west through the beautiful Todra Gorges, and Dades Valley until we reach the Rose Valley for lunch. Moreover, on our way to The Gate of the Sahara, we pass nearby the Skoura Valley.

Usually, known as the Valley of Thousands Kasbah. We drive for 30 minutes to reach the historical Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for a picture. The Kasbah is home to many movies, including The Game of Thrones, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven...etc!

After seeing this spectacular kasbah, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains with some stops at the pass (2260m). Learn the process of producing Argan oil in a women's cooperative. Furthermore, we will drive for another two hours to reach Marrakech. The driver "Begaa Tours" will drop you off at your Riad, where our 2 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech ends.

The Best Morocco Tour!!

Begaa Tours tailored our amazing 14 day tour of Morocco to suit our personal travel style. This was an excellent experience with great tour guides looking at all the excellent places in Morocco. The accommodation was great, from Riads in the old cities to desert berber camp and more modern accommodation.

Both Ahmed & Mohammed were full of knowledge, and accommodating of our needs. The Camel ride in the Desert was an experience as well, from sand storms, to rain and clear skies the next morning. I would recommend Begaa Tours, and definitely do it again. Highly recommend

NO BETTER WAY TO SEE MOROCCO

Our unbelievable 14 days with Begaa Tours in Morocco started in Casablanca and finished in Marrakech travelling through Rabbat, Meknes, Chefchaouen the blue city and onto Fes with 2 days to explore this amazing ancient city. Moving on to the Ziz Valley near Aoufous, we stayed in a beautiful hotel overlooking the date palm hub of Morocco. Our 2 hr guided walk with Said through the local farming plots under the date palms was a fantastic way to witness the day to day life of the village families working their farming plots. On our arrival at Et Taous the camels were waiting to begin our 1 1/2 hour afternoon trek into the Sahara Desert at sunset for our amazing overnight 'glamping experience'...wow this tour is amazing! The breathtaking drive over the High Atlas Mountains heading through Marrakech en route to the coastal city of Essaouira for a relaxing day and last minute shopping. 2 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech.
