Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga
Our private 3 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga starts after breakfast toward the Sahara desert. Our driver from Begaa Tours company will pick you up from your riad/hotel at 8:00 am and drive through the middle atlas mountains.
Firstly, we stop in Ifran which know as (little Switzerland) for a coffee and to see the lion's status. Then, another stop at the cedar forest where you can witness the wild monkeys. Moreover, we continue our way through the Atlas mountains until Midelt for lunch.
Thereafter, we will head to Erfoud a popular town for fossils and dates through the Ziz Valley to admire a nice panoramic view. In the afternoon, we will reach the fascinating Erg Chebbi dunes where we will spend the first night of our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga in a local hotel. Dinner and breakfast are included.
Day 2: Merzouga desert 4×4 tour - Nomad families & Camel trekking
The second day of our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga will start from the hotel. This trip will be dedicated to exploring the Sahara desert by 4x4 vehicle. After breakfast, we will make the tour around the dunes and we will visit the Berber nomad families behind the dunes, who are still living in wool black tents. We will have a glass of tea with them and learn about life in the Sahara desert. After that, we will visit Khamlia village, which is famous for its music - the Gnaoua music.
Depending on the season, if we have enough time we will visit Hassi Labied Oasis. In the afternoon, we will drive back to the hotel to be prepared for the camel ride. Therefore, you will ride camels for almost 90 minutes, on the way you stop to take stunning photos of the sunset and enjoy the views of the endless dunes. Arriving at the camp you will be welcomed with a cup of tea and show your private luxury tent. We will have dinner and Berber music around a campfire.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Ifrane - Fes
On the last day of the 3 days tour from Fes to Merzouga, we recommend you wake up early morning to watch the sunrise. After breakfast and showering, you ride the camels back to the hotel. We continue towards Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt. Here, we will stop for lunch. Later on, we head towards Ifrane, and our tour finishes in Fes. We drop you off at your hotel/riad.

Morocco is a beautiful country to visit with incredible natural beauty, amazing old cities (Medina), the nicest people and vibrant culture. A truly land of contrasts. The Best Morocco Tour!!
Begaa Tours tailored our amazing 14 day tour of Morocco to suit our personal travel style. They included hotel, riad and camping options to cater to our preferred accommodation type and organised transport to suit our small group of 8 (2 X 4WD Toyota Prados) Our two tour guides, Ahmed and Muhammad, were so professional, knowledgeable, willing and able. Nothing was too much trouble for them to handle or fix at any time. They both had friendly personalities with big smiles on their faces and great senses of humour to boot. They were both excellent drivers and took us to see the best of Morocco including Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakech, the Ziz Valley, the Atlas Mountains, the Essourian coast, the Sahara, and so much more in between. Begaa Tours Moroccan experience
This was an excellent experience with great tour guides looking at all the excellent places in Morocco. The accomodation was great, from Riads in the old cities to desert tents and more modern accomodation.
Both Ahmed & Mohammed were full of knowledge, and accomodating of our needs. The Camel ride in the Desert was an experience as well, from sand storms, to rain and clear skies the next morning. I would recommend Begaa Tours, and definitely do it again
NO BETTER WAY TO SEE MOROCCO
Our unbelievable 14 days with Begaa Tours in Morocco started in Casablanca and finished in Marrakech travelling through Rabbat, Meknes, Chefchaouen the blue city and onto Fes with 2 days to explore this amazing ancient city. Moving on to the Ziz Valley near Aoufous, we stayed in a beautiful hotel overlooking the date palm hub of Morocco. Our 2 hr guided walk with Said through the local farming plots under the date palms was a fantastic way to witness the day to day life of the village families working their farming plots. On our arrival at Et Taous the camels were waiting to begin our 1 1/2 hour afternoon trek into the Sahara Desert at sunset for our amazing overnight 'glamping experience'...wow this tour is amazing! The breathtaking drive over the High Atlas Mountains heading through Marrakech en route to the coastal city of Essaouira for a relaxing day and last minute shopping.
Another family member had previously travelled with Begaa Tours on 2 other occasions and had assured us of the high standard they deliver.
