What to Expect
This wonderful 3 days tour from Tangier to Fes via Chefchaouen, will allow you to explore the North of Morocco. Including Tangier, Blue city, and Fes. Generally, on the first day, we will head toward the stunning Chefchaouen through the Rif mountains. Here, you will walk in its colorful streets and see the main plaza and the Kasbah. Moreover, we will walk to the famous Ras El Ma waterfall and hike to the Spanish Mosque for a stunning sunset view.
On the second day, we will head to Fes through the Roman ruins and Meknes. In Volubilis, a local guide will be with you for almost an hour to explore this historical monument. After that, we continue to Meknes to visit the Bab Mansour, El Hadim Square, and the granaries. Then, head to Fes overnight in the Medina.
On The third day of our 3 days tour from Tangier via Chefchaouen will be a full day exploring the most visited sites of Fes. For instance, the royal palace, the Jewish quarter, the old university, and the Chouara tanneries.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen
Today, we'll pick you up from Tangier Airport/port or from your accommodation. Thereafter, we'll drive to Chefchaouen crossing the Rif mountains to enjoy the fascinating views and small villages on the way. In Chefchaouen, we will begin our blue city tour by visiting the Ras El Ma waterfall.
Then, we will have a walk through the blue walls to the first building situated in the heart of the Medina, a Kasbah museum where there are info and pictures of Chefchaouen. You will have a free afternoon to relax and have lunch in one of the restaurants near the plaza. Dinner & overnight in Chefchaouen city.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Ouazzane - Volubilis - Meknes
On the next day and after breakfast at your hotel/riad in Chefchaouen, we will head to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes. Firstly, we will stop to explore the Roman ruins with a local guide. With whom we will explore the ancient Roman and Berber civilizations. In Volubilis you will see the Triumphal arch located at the edge of the ruin and the restored mosaic floors.
After that, we continue our way to Meknes, an imperial city that has existed since the first rulers of the Alaouite dynasty. Here, we will visit the great Bab Mansour Gate just nearby the popular El Hadim Plaza and the Sahrij Souani Basin. After lunch, we drive to Fez in the evening to spend the night there.
Day 3: Fes city tour - Transfer to the airport/accommodation
On the third day, we'll start discovering the oldest Moroccan city with a professional local guide. To begin with, we'll visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, not forgetting all the cultural and historical sites. For instance, the famous University Al Qarawiyyin which is considered the oldest one in the world, Tanneries, and the wonderful Moulay Idriss mausoleum.
After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant, we will visit tiles cooperative to enjoy an amazing view over the whole Medina of Fes. At the end of your journey, we will either transfer you to the Airport or your hotel/riad in Fez.

The Best Morocco Tour!!
Begaa Tours tailored our amazing 14 day tour of Morocco to suit our personal travel style. They included hotel, riad and camping options to cater to our preferred accommodation type and organised transport to suit our small group of 8 (2 X 4WD Toyota Prados) Our two tour guides, Ahmed and Muhammad, were so professional, knowledgeable, willing and able. Nothing was too much trouble for them to handle or fix at any time. They both had friendly personalities with big smiles on their faces and great senses of humour to boot. They were both excellent drivers and took us to see the best of Morocco including Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakech, the Ziz Valley, the Atlas Mountains, the Essourian coast, the Sahara, and so much more in between. Begaa Tours Moroccan experience
This was an excellent experience with great tour guides looking at all the excellent places in Morocco. The accomodation was great, from Riads in the old cities to desert tents and more modern accomodation.
Both Ahmed & Mohammed were full of knowledge, and accomodating of our needs. The Camel ride in the Desert was an experience as well, from sand storms, to rain and clear skies the next morning. I would recommend Begaa Tours, and definitely do it again
NO BETTER WAY TO SEE MOROCCO
Our unbelievable 14 days with Begaa Tours in Morocco started in Casablanca and finished in Marrakech travelling through Rabbat, Meknes, Chefchaouen the blue city and onto Fes with 2 days to explore this amazing ancient city. Moving on to the Ziz Valley near Aoufous, we stayed in a beautiful hotel overlooking the date palm hub of Morocco. Our 2 hr guided walk with Said through the local farming plots under the date palms was a fantastic way to witness the day to day life of the village families working their farming plots. On our arrival at Et Taous the camels were waiting to begin our 1 1/2 hour afternoon trek into the Sahara Desert at sunset for our amazing overnight 'glamping experience'...wow this tour is amazing! The breathtaking drive over the High Atlas Mountains heading through Marrakech en route to the coastal city of Essaouira for a relaxing day and last minute shopping.
Another family member had previously travelled with Begaa Tours on 2 other occasions and had assured us of the high standard they deliver.
