Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen - Fes
Our private 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Sahara desert starts with a pick up from Tangier. Today, we will drive to Fes to enjoy the beautiful views of the Rif mountains and the blue city. Here, there are many things to explore. For instance, we will visit the first building in the Medina, a kasbah museum where there are photos and Infos about the city.
Moreover, we will walk through the blue and white streets to the Ras El Ma waterfalls. Overall, we will ensure that you have wonderful sightseeing of the whole medina and admire its blue building take photos. After lunch, we will drive toward Fes to spend our first night in the Medina.
Day 2: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
Our Tangier to Marrakech 4 days desert tour will continue toward the Sahara desert, the highlight of all Morocco tours. Today we have a long drive from Fes to Merzouga. However, we will explore all the desert attractions. Therefore, the first stop will be at Ifran, called often as little Switzerland. There, we will have a break for a coffee and visit the atlas lions carved in a rock.
Our next stop is at the cedar forest in Azrou. Here, we will explore the forest and see the wild monkeys, we can feed them, take photos, and leave the forest through the Middle Atlas mountains. Lunch will be at Midelt. Then, continue our way to Merzouga crossing the High Atlas and enjoying the stunning Ziz Valley.
In Merzouga, a professional camel man will take you through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy the infinity landscape of the Sahara desert and see the sunset. After dinner, we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Our Tangier desert tour continues by waking up early for a stunning sunrise. After breakfast and showering, we will head to Dades Valley. First, we will pass by Erfoud, if you are interested we will visit one of the fossil factories. Thereafter, we will have our next stop not far from Erfoud in an old traditional irrigation system.
After that, we will drive to Todra gorges, the Grand Canyon of Morocco. Here, we will take a walk near the river passing through the Atlas mountains. After lunch in Todra valley, we will head to Dades valley to spend our third night in a local hotel.
Day 4: Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Marrakech
We'll start our last day of this 4-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Sahara desert by driving through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. To start, we will have our first break at the edge of Rose valley to visit one of the cooperatives where they made the products of rose flowers. Second, we will stop at Ouarzazate, the city is famous for the cinema. Eventually, if you are interested we may visit one of the atlas studios.
After visiting Ouarzazate, we will continue our way to the famous Ait Benhaddou kasbah. Here, many parts of popular movies are made. For instance, Lawrence Of Arabia, Gladiator, Kingdom Of Heaven. After lunch in Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, we will continue our trip passing through the Tichka Pass.
Then, we will make a stop in the middle of the way for a coffee and visit a cooperative of Argan if you are interested to see the process of making Argan oil. Eventually, the 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Sahara desert will end by taking you to your accommodation in Marrakech.

Morocco is a beautiful country to visit with incredible natural beauty, amazing old cities (Medina), the nicest people and vibrant culture. A truly land of contrasts. The Best Morocco Tour!!
Begaa Tours tailored our amazing 14 day tour of Morocco to suit our personal travel style. They included hotel, riad and camping options to cater to our preferred accommodation type and organised transport to suit our small group of 8 (2 X 4WD Toyota Prados) Our two tour guides, Ahmed and Muhammad, were so professional, knowledgeable, willing and able. Nothing was too much trouble for them to handle or fix at any time. They both had friendly personalities with big smiles on their faces and great senses of humour to boot. They were both excellent drivers and took us to see the best of Morocco including Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakech, the Ziz Valley, the Atlas Mountains, the Essourian coast, the Sahara, and so much more in between. Begaa Tours Moroccan experience
This was an excellent experience with great tour guides looking at all the excellent places in Morocco. The accomodation was great, from Riads in the old cities to desert tents and more modern accomodation.
Both Ahmed & Mohammed were full of knowledge, and accomodating of our needs. The Camel ride in the Desert was an experience as well, from sand storms, to rain and clear skies the next morning. I would recommend Begaa Tours, and definitely do it again
NO BETTER WAY TO SEE MOROCCO
Our unbelievable 14 days with Begaa Tours in Morocco started in Casablanca and finished in Marrakech travelling through Rabbat, Meknes, Chefchaouen the blue city and onto Fes with 2 days to explore this amazing ancient city. Moving on to the Ziz Valley near Aoufous, we stayed in a beautiful hotel overlooking the date palm hub of Morocco. Our 2 hr guided walk with Said through the local farming plots under the date palms was a fantastic way to witness the day to day life of the village families working their farming plots. On our arrival at Et Taous the camels were waiting to begin our 1 1/2 hour afternoon trek into the Sahara Desert at sunset for our amazing overnight 'glamping experience'...wow this tour is amazing! The breathtaking drive over the High Atlas Mountains heading through Marrakech en route to the coastal city of Essaouira for a relaxing day and last minute shopping.
Another family member had previously travelled with Begaa Tours on 2 other occasions and had assured us of the high standard they deliver.
