Tour Plan

Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

We will start our 10-day tour from Tangier by picking you up from the port or airport, we may visit Hercules Cave. Next, we will drive through the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen to see the beautiful views of the mountains and villages. Here, upon our arrival to the blue city, we will check into the Riad. Then, we will walk to admire its beautiful walls and walk in the old medina.

We will head to the old first building at the heart of Ota Hamma Square before we visit Ras El Ma waterfalls. Afterward, you can spend the afternoon watching the sunset at the Spanish mosque. Then, relax in a nice place at night to enjoy the cool breeze and the beautiful Rif mountains.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Ouezzane - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

On the second day, we will continue our way towards Volubilis crossing via Ouezzane and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the Moroccan history of this amazing archaeological site.

After exploring the ruins, we will head to Meknes City's 17th century. After we explore the ruins, we will go to 17th-century Meknes City. We will have lunch there and visit the historic walls of Bab El Mansour.

Then, we will stroll through El Hedim Square and Sehrij Es Souani. After that, we will drive directly to Fes City where you will spend the night in a Riad.

Day 3: Fes sightseeing tour

After breakfast, we will explore the oldest city in Morocco, Fes, with a local guide.

Walk in its alleys and small streets. We start our visit at the Royal Palace gate. Then, we move on to the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. They constructed the Mellah in the 16th century and used it as the Jewish headquarters.

We will visit all the significant cultural and historical sites in Fes Medina. These include the Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will experience a wonderful panoramic view over Medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast in your hotel/riad, we will leave Fes to the Sahara desert. To begin with, we will have our first stop at Ifran, known as "Little Switzerland". Here we will make a quick stop to see the status of a lion and grab a coffee. Then, we will drive to the Cedar Forest to catch sight of wild monkeys.

After that, we will drive through Zaida and Midelt where we may stop for lunch. Then, you will travel through the attractive Tizi N'Talghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, with beautiful views of the High Atlas plateau.

It's fascinating how the scenery transforms from the middle to the high Atlas as we approach the desert.

Next stop at Ziz Valley to view the vast Oases. After that, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive at Merzouga desert in the afternoon. You'll have a glass of mint tea when you get into your riad/hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Tour - Camel Trekking

Our 10-day itinerary from Tangier includes the highlight of our Morocco desert tour. After breakfast, we will tour the local area before the start of your camel ride.

Firstly, we go to the National Auto Car Museum, and see the Gnawa people in their village Khamlia. They are from Mali and Sudan. You will learn about their music there.

Later, we will drive into the desert area to meet nomad families to explore their way of life. Today our lunch will be a traditional Berber meal (Berber pizza).

We may go to Rissani, a city in Morocco. significant because it is the birthplace of the ruling royal family, the Alaouite dynasty.

People know Rissani for its traditional souk, which it holds three times a week and has four doors. you'll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables, and clothes.

Drive back to the village of Merzouga. In the afternoon, you'll ride a camel with a guide to explore hidden treasures in the tallest sand dunes. Therefore, the camp will serve dinner, and you will spend the night there listening to live traditional music.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Boumalne Dades

On this day we will get up early to see the Merzouga desert sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara. Then, breakfast and shower at the camp. Afterward, you will peacefully ride the camels back to the meeting point.

So, we will pass through Rissani and Erfoud to reach Todra Gorge. We will see Rock Canyon and have a traditional Moroccan lunch there. We walk through the gorge before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will continue our 10-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech. Before, we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'Gouna and wrzazte ait. Tourists know the Dades Valley route for its many kasbahs, which provide great photo opportunities. A popular spot for capturing memorable moments during your trip.

Afterward, we will stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for lunch, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. This kasbah used to be one of the main stops of camel caravans from the Sahara to Marrakech. Nowadays, the Kasbah is one of the UNESCO heritage sites.

After lunch, we will change our route to go over the high Atlas Mountains. We will stop at Tichka Pass, which is 2260 meters high, and then stop again to rest. Later, we will keep driving along the way full of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages to Marrakech. Overnight in a fancy riad in the medina.

Day 8: Marrakech sightseeing tour

On this day, you will explore Marrakech, founded by the Almoravid dynasty in the 12th century.

After breakfast in the Riad, we explore Marrakech ”the red city of Morocco” with a local guide. During your trip, we will visit important historical and cultural sites. These sites include the Koutoubia Tower, Saadian tombs, and Bahia Palace.

Next, you'll explore the markets and see many crafts, then go to Majorelle Gardens outside the city. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander to the famous Jamaa El Fna square.

Day 9: Day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira

The last city we will explore with our 10-day tour from Tangier will be Essaouira. Therefore, you will start traveling for about 3 hours to the coastal city of Essaouira.

Today we will stop to see the goat climbing the Argan trees. When we arrive in Essaouira, we will visit the Skala Fortress.

We will also see the Thuya wood carvings and explore the alleys of the medina. Here, we will see many handicrafts. Local artisans made them.

Essaouira has a rich history with influences from various civilizations, like the Portuguese. Despite this, it is still a small village. In addition, you will also visit the women's co-operative of Argan oil.

Here they extract the argan oil, it is famous for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. In the afternoon you will travel back to Marrakech. Overnight at your riad/hotel.

Day 10: Marrakech - Transfer to airport

This would be the last day of our 10-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech. Therefore, we will drive you to the Airport and wish you a safe trip home.
